Date:2013-03-24

Shahid Afridi took five wickets as Pakistan dismissed Bangladesh for 91 in little more than 30 overs in the first one-day international on Thursday.

The legspinning allrounder claimed 5-23 from 6.3 overs after Bangladesh won the toss and opted to bat first at Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium.

Nasir Hossain top-scored on 21, with only Rubel Hossain (15 not out), Shakib Al Hasan (15) and Mushfiqur Rahim (11) reaching double figures for Bangladesh’s innings to end after just 30.3 overs. The 12 extras registered the fourth highest score.
